 Elegance In BlackWe welcome you to Crown Friesians. Crown Friesians was founded in 2001 in the Hill Country of Texas. At this time there were only about 2500 Friesians in the United States. Today there is estimated to be 15,000. You can easily see this beautiful breed has captured the hearts of America. At Crown Friesians we strive to produce 1 or 2 high quality foals each year. Our mares are all Ster mares with full paper and represent some of the most highly sought after bloodlines available. As breeders we continually attempt to keep our education and knowledge of Friesians current and study all the breeding information provided by the KFPS. We have traveled to the Netherlands 3 times, and have imported 2 Friesian horses. We have many contacts in the Netherlands and in the US and if we are unable to help you we will happily refer to one of our associate breeders who can. We strictly adhere to the KFPS Dutch Friesian principles and guide lines and do not cross breed. We have attended numerous clinics held by various KFPS inspectors, judges and breeders and have attempted to choose the best possible pairings for our mares. We want you to feel at home here.
